Our Business Manager -
Linda Morrill
Linda has been
with First Presbyterian Church for many years. She is one
of key people that keep First Presbyterian Church
functioning smoothly. Linda is a member of St. Mark's
Lutheran Church, but we claim her as one of our own.
Our Choir Director -
Don Grant
Don has been a
member of First Presbyterian Church for many years. Don is
retired from Emporia Public Schools, as their High School
Choir Director. Don currently serves on our Session and he
is a vital part of our Worship & Music leadership.
Our Special Music Coordinator - Jane Hawes
Jane has many
special gifts for music ministry. She loves to sing, write
music, direct and play the recorder. Jane has been a member
of Westminster for many years and she has served as choir
director. Jane is excited to have the opportunity to focus
on special programs in our newly merged church.
One of Our Organists - Mary Melhorn
Mary has been
our church organist for many years. Mary is a wonderful
musician. She can sight read music better than most
musicians can play a practiced piece of music. We are
privileged that Mary chooses to use her gifts to help make
our worship services glorify God with beautiful
music.
One of Our Organists - Diane McCarty
Diane has been
the organist for Westminster for many years. She is a music
educator for Emporia Public Schools. She brings a great
love for music and amazing talent to our church
staff.
Our Custodian - Ed Johnson
Ed has been our
custodian for over eight years. He does far more around the
church than is required of him. He makes sure the church
facilities are ready for whatever the church calendar
requires and he does it all with a wonderful smile on his
face.
