Welcome to the Presbyterian Church of Emporia!
We are a vibrant congregation with people of all ages. We have many children in our congregation and our programs for children are always expanding. In January of 2007, Westminster United Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian were merged into one congregation. We have two beautiful campuses for activities and worship.

Our downtown campus is located at 8th & Commercial, just four blocks south of the Emporia State campus. Our west campus is located at 1702 West 15th Ave.

We have regular gatherings for families with younger children and many other programs that take place throughout the year.

9:00 AM Choir Practice in Sanctuary
9:30 AM Sunday School for children and adults
9:30 AM Fellowship in Friendship Room (coffee, juice & doughnuts)
10:45 AM Worship in Sanctuary
6:30 PM Presbyterian Student Organization (on the playground & Friendship Room)

We have a handicap accessible church van, as well as an elevator to assist people in getting into our facility. If you need a ride, please call the church office at: 342-0375.

First Presbyterian Church has been serving Christ in Emporia for 140 years. Westminster United Presbyterian has been serving Emporia for over 100 years. Together, our merged congregation brings a history of service to the community, commitment to Christ and involvement in ministries that serve the people of Emporia.
Our downtown campus building is a landmark in downtown Emporia.  It is a white limestone building, designed by Emporia architect Charles Squires and dedicated May 16, 1897. It is located at Eighth Avenue and Commercial, four blocks south of the main entrance to the Campus of Emporia State University.
Our west campus building is also a beautiful church set in a residential area of Emporia. It was designed by Trevor Lewis, who is a long-time member of the church and a prominent Emporia architect.
